Wonder - Simple yet Brilliant
Wonder by - R. J Palacio
the book by R.J Palacio takes us through a a 5th grade academic year of a boy with deficiency in face with the complications during pregnancy. of cause it snot deficiency yet the writer have very well described the facts.
the main them of the story is kindness and the different perspectives of the same story. every story have two different sides, writer very nicely illustrates the different point of views in separate chapters through the main characters, not just illustrates but let the reader live the real character. by which the reader is starched through completely different feelings for the same incident. at a point when one is angry with Via in the next chapter you see what is really in her side, ultimately the reader is guided to see things in such a kind manner that neutral feeling to all the characters.
key point I see in the book are, in section science under Jack's chapter, the complete failure of the entire education system is illustrates as "fill our heads with all these stuff we will probably never need to know, like how to figure out the surface area of a cube .... I've never ever heard my parents say the word "kinetic" " a requirement of a practical education system is emphasized
last chapter "Julian chapter" which was added later publications has given the completely different perspective of the bad character "Julian" which I feel justified the character and the missing piece of other side of the story. but all the Grandma's old story was some dramatic additions which was kind of out of the line of the main story line
overall the book is simple yet brilliant
